Nancy McManus is a dedicated body work professional with a compassionate and intuitive touch.
Originally from the northeast, Nancy received her initial training at the Massage Institute of New England in Cambridge, MA, graduating in 2001 with focus on Swedish Massage. Her experiences working in a wide range of medical massage environments led her to enhance her training in support of Physical Therapy.
Nancy understands the difficulties her clients face in committing to long term recovery while trying to keep up with daily obligations. As a therapist, she is a great choice for our clients struggling with recurring or long term issues, those who have or perhaps might consider a regular PT protocol. Eventually she transitioned to a more therapeutic and medical approach at a chiropractic clinic because of her intuitive ability to understand people's pain patterns. Jin worked side by side with doctors to rehabilitate and alleviate chronic pain, stress and tension with therapeutic deep tissue massage. She worked with many clients who had extensive surgeries, full spinal fusions, severe scoliosis, metal pins and numerous other medical concerns.
She also has a degree in Mind-Body Transformational Psychology and advanced training in prenatal, lymphatic and oncology massage. Having such a variety of experience allows her to work with people on many different levels of healing. Jin is deeply passionate about bodywork and believes massage is an amazing way to reconnect with ourselves and ignite a desire to take better care of our bodies and our overall well-being.
RubyAnn Stiegelmeier is passionate about body mechanics.
RubyAnn graduated in 2012 with over 1200 hours in training from Williston State College in North Dakota. After being trained by two licensed physical therapists and mentored by an osteopathic physician, she prizes the kinesiology education she has received. Her perspective toward the human body is multi-level; taking into account both the complexity of each joint system and the daily stressors of emotions and physical activity. She gears each massage toward achieving optimum body posture through efficient release of muscle tension.
Clients with repetitive use injuries and joint dysfunction have described RubyAnn's massage therapy as extremely beneficial. She built her skills by working several years in close collaboration with a chiropractor and followed that experience by choosing to bring her knowledge and intuition here to Santa Fe. She believes that kindness is the best approach in both healthcare and daily life, and strives to continue her education through mentorship and self-study.
